In 1969, Jerome Dines, a Pittsburgh businessman, had reproductions made of a selection of Weiner’s works in order to make the paintings available to a larger public. He asked Weiner to supervise the production of a limited edition of photographic lithographs. The total number of lithographs produced was 750 of each painting and the plates were destroyed after the process.
